Indonesia's B40 Biodiesel Plan Requires Extra 3 Mln Tons Of

NUSA DUA, Indonesia, Nov 8 (Reuters) - Indonesia's plan to raise the mandatory palm oil content of biodiesel to 40% next year from 35% will need extra feedstock supply of around 3 million metric heaps, a senior Indonesia Palm Oil Association (GAPKI) authorities stated on Friday.
Indonesia's crude palm is seen at 48 million metric heaps in 2024, down 4% from last year, but is expected to rise to 50 million in 2025, GAPKI advisory board member Joko Supriyono informed the Indonesia Palm Oil Conference in Bali.
